Finally Z4 photos are available in Facebook and as a Youtube shorts. I think it is from the fellow Bhuvan Kumar. Currently at workplace, so not yet have time to download and upload here.

Delighted to see the sunglass holder and the rotary mechanism for lumbar support for the driver's seat. Any idea whether lumbar support is provided for the co-passenger's seat as well?

Only grudges are for black door opening lever and no electrically foldable ORVMs. Anyway, these were well known while finalizing the booking the Z4 AT.

The driver and co-passenger's common armrest should have been covered with a soft touch material. Hard plastic would feel too cold when AC is on, and feel sticky.

Instrument cluster speedo and tacho dials are looking bad

This particular post on Scorpio N FB page claims Z4 has drive modes plus AC module at rear seat. Model seems Z4DAT. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Z4 was always supposed to have AC module at rear. This is literally given in the brochure. Regarding modes, the AT has the same engine as Z8L so would have the 3 modes.

Hi, what's your update? I guess you had a Z4 Petrol AT booking in Gurgaon location?

After my tentative delivery period got over my date changed to 30 Dec to 14 Jan. I might go check with the dealer around mid Dec but to be honest I have realised that no one - whether dealer, SA or Area Sales Manager has any idea about when a car will get delivered until Mahindra bills them the car.

The black Scorpio N in the post right before your post is a 2WD AT. There was a video in youtube with pictures of this particular car an hour ago, I couldn't find the video now. The pictures included a centre console pic too and I noticed Drive Mode button in that. AC module is mentioned in the brochure but drive mode is a sweet surprise. It's only in 2WD AT variant. 2WD AT has additional buttons for Drive Mode, Traction Control and Hill Descent Control. Manual has only Start/Stop and Hazard buttons. I think even in higher variants it is only available in 2WD.

Hi,

I am uploading ther rest of the pictures shared by Sri. Akash Choudhury on the same ScorpioN Owners Group page here:

Here you can see an Auto start-stop button (I think), Hazard lamps, Traction Control, Hill Descent Control, and Drive mode buttons.

The AT gets TC, HDC and drive modes, as well as the higher tune engine, which makes it almost worth the 2 lacs premium over the manual.

The MID in the middle is smaller and not color, but the interesting thing is that it is greyscale, and not pure black and white. You can see that there are shades of grey, which makes for cleaner looking text and graphics. It could have been a bit bigger though. This looks about the same size MID screen you get on a Sonet, except the Sonet has a full colour MID.

At first look it does not look plain. The brown shade brings a classy touch, IMO. A good break from the blacks, greys and beige that dominates the interiors of most cars.

Rear AC controls, and a single USB-C port at the rear. Guess the rear passengers will have to learn to share.

Clear cut signs of abuse. Looks like the dealer used the vehicle for fun or off roading test drive by disconnecting the speedometer cable.

Such crooked thoughts. The person who takes delivery is getting duped in anticipation of a dream vehicle.

Thank you.

Cancelled by Z6 - D - AT - 8 seater booking a while ago as I will need to divert my funds. Let's see what's in store for the future.

Re: What happened with your Mahindra Scorpio-N Booking?

I am so used to good service from Toyota and Honda that Mahindra's utter garbage customer service is making me re-think of buying the car. The customer care keeps directing to Area Sales Manager who doesn't bother responding. And dealer is clueless.

Re: What happened with your Mahindra Scorpio-N Booking?

What should be the Motor Insurance with RTI and Engine protect (fully loaded insurance) for the Z4 D AT variant for Gurgaon location (either HR26 or HR98 registration)? Please forward me some references. I have tried with ICICI Lombard, Bajaj Allianz, Tata AIG, HDFC Ergo through online. But I couldn't get the quote for unregistered new vehicle.

The dealership quotation is attached herewith.
