I want get a pair of Philips Xtreme Power 55/60W H4 for my i10. This is as per default wattage and setting. Would I void any warranty by replacing the stock bulbs with the Philips ones?

Can anyone please tell me how to reach A.K. Traders (Mr. Mittal) at J.C. Road? I have never been to that part of the city. I have been to mysore-road victoria hospital place coming from corporation circle.

What is approx price I should pay for the pair? Can I bargain?

Thanks in advance.

It will not void warranty.

From which side of the city are you coming? Since you said you know corporation circle I assume from North Bangalore.

From Corp Circle -> Take left onto Lal Bagh Road and go towards Lal Bagh. There is a Y junction on lalbagh road. Take slight right here to keep on the lalbagh road. Keep drivng and you will reach a dead end which is Lal bagh west gate. Here take right on the signal. Again a Y junction -> Keep right. You will reach minerva circle. Take right at the signal. You are on JC Road now. (Basically JC Road and Lalbagh road are parallel to each other, but they are both one-ways in opposite direction). Once on JC Road look for multi level car park on right hand side. This will be within 150 meters from signal. Park your car there. Now come out of the MLPL and cross the road. You will see a small road which goes inside. Take that road. There are many Auto Accessory shops on that road. Take right on 3rd cross. Keep going straight and you will find AK Traders on your left hand side on 1st floor. You can ask anyone on that road and they will tell you.

New Honda City - Lights uprgrade/installation

Hi - Have got a ANHC. Feel that the headlight is not adequate for night diriving even within city limits. Wanted to upgrade to 100/90. Will upgrading the headlights have any effect on the warranty?

Also want to install reading lights in the cabin. Shops I spoke to mentioned that they will cut the wires leading to the brake light or to the tail lights and connect the reading light to it. They have mentioned that there is no way to install the lights without cutting wires, which I am not comfortable with. Is there someway the same can be installed without cutting wires.

cheers

What's the car's spec for bulbs? any change in wattage or bulb standard normally voids warranty.

Even i have upgraded my ANHC with in 1 month of purchase. Even with fog lights on, its difficult to drive in highways with stock setup. I asked in service center, he personally told most people have upgraded to 90/100. I don't think they will cut the wires, relay and wire is put parallel to existing setup and it has its own ceramic bulb connector.

I am using Hella relay Kit and Phillips 90/100w, and you can use the same relay and use it upto 100/130W also.

Hi guys,
I'm planning to replace the stock lamps of my new swift ddis (yet to be delivered) with Philips 130/100W H4 and wanted to clarify a few doubts
1. Would you say that 600/-INR + 100/-INR (for shipping) is a good price for these? I found them on ebay eBay India: 2 X Original PHILIPS 130/100 W H4 Car Headlight Bulbs (item 110525644085 end time 28-May-2010 13:28:40 IST)
2. Are these the ones for clear white light?
3. I understand relay wiring would be needed for this. Approx cost for the same?
4. Can I get the relay done at any shop who could fit a bulb or really need a professional for this? If a professional, could someone recommend anybody in South Delhi?
5. Anything else apart from the relay I'd need to do get done on the headlamp cover so that it wouldn't heat up or would it be able to take the heat without any problem? Someone somewhere mentioned ceramic holder, how much would that cost?

Thanks

Hi Guys,

I have got a pair of Philips Diamond Vision bulbs for my Santro Xing. I really like the HID effect which it creates. But now the problem is that I am not getting the same bulbs for my Fog lamps. By the way, my fogs are hyundai genuine installed by the dealer. I have searched everywhere for philips diamond vision which can be installed on the fogs.

Can anyone please let me know where I can source Philips Diamond vision for Santro Xing company fitted Fog Lights ? If philips diamond vision is not available, is there any alternative for it, because I really dont like the difference in color of the Headlamp and The Fogs !!

First suggestion - Don't change your stock bulbs until you are in warrenty period. Those bulbs may void you warranty.

and Here are the answers for your questions.

1) Price seems good. Shipping cost seems high. (but still not much as seller is selling a breakable material. So he would be shipping it with insurance.)
2) No, the light color is same as your stock 60/55 bulb gives, but the light output is just more than double from your stock bulb.
3) Relay wiring will cost about Rs. 400 to Rs. 600
4) ????? Don't know
5) Ceramic holders cost about Rs. 100 to Rs. 250 for a pair (Not sure)

Is the H/L bulb changing of NHC, is a difficult task?
Is there a chance for an accompanied wrong Alignment if we do it ourselves.

Anybody has done it self, as per the Car manual ?

YUPP !! Vijay Wheel Alignment Center also has Headlight Focussing equipment.. Been there yesterday, they do a good job with the headlight focussing, it is manual & has an axis to focus Left, right or Up-Down of the beam..

Wheel Alignment is also manual there.. just fyi

Hi team.
Need help/advise.
Planning to upgrade the headlight of my Ritz.
So heard that 100/90W with relay is a good option m with proper ceramic holders.
Now firstly i wanted to know if i get these changes done, will it effect the reflector dome, like getting darker or fine cracksand second, if this will effect what other options i have regarding the same .
And also can some one suggest any reliable place where i can get this done.
Please advise .
Thanks in advance

Cheers
