Blue vision is very difficult to source and it produces blue light which you don't want. White vision will produce white light but it wont be as white as the hid bulbs,but much better than standard halogens. If you want best light output, i would suggest Osram NightBreaker + unlimited or Philips Xtreme vision. They are whiter than standard halogens, but not as white as white vision and offers superb light throw and better visibility when compared to white vision. Hope this helps

I have used it all. Including Philips Crystal Vision.

My advice would be NOT to buy these bulbs. They only add to the visual appeal of your car.

On city roads, they should be ok, but on highways the throw is very poor, hardly illuminates anything.

If it rains you will be literally driving blind. Stick to the yellow ones.

If white is what you want, HID is the way to go.

Save your money from these and grab some HID's.

Installed Morimoto HID on my GT TSI. Took 2 hours to install and still need to zip-tie the wires and ignitor. Very much satisfied with the output. All other bulbs appear yellow and dull when compared to this. I cant even noticw my cornering light when these are turned on. Overall, i would say "worth every penny spent"

Specs of the installed Hid:
- Morimoto XB35 ballast with canbus harness.
- Morimoto h7 5500k bulbs.
- Eagle Eyes Gti headlamps.

All the sites that sold them are non-Indian ones.

I have a 2010 Swift Ldi. I had a local mechanic put the fog lamp assembly in place along with bulbs that haven't been working for years now. I wanted to replace those bulbs and use them during the day, just like DRLs. I would use the fog lamps during the day only during my highway drives.

Questions:

1) Is it ok to be running those H8 bulbs for 10-12 hours of driving during the day?

2) I saw some LEDs that are H8 type and are supposed to fit in the fog lamp assembly in a few websites. Since LEDs mean a whole lot less heat I was thinking of getting the H8 type LEDs that are adequate to act as DRLs, any ideas/tips? (specifically whether they'd be bright enough to be seen from far)

I have a question. I want to upgrade my stock bulbs on my S-Cross with Philips Ultinon H4 LED lamps. 6200k. Says 150% brighter. Firstly, is it worth 12k for the two bulbs. Secondly, is it a direct replacement or would I have to mess with my wiring? The car is on a 4 year warranty and I am not too keen on voiding it. Any answers on this topic would be highly appreciated.

I bought it today from the authorized Philips dealer at Kashmiri Gate, Delhi. Will get the fitment done tomorrow and share the result in a couple of days time. My intent was to avoid a projector/hid setup and this plug and play option seems the best bet at the moment. Coming to your questions, its a 100% plug and play setup which wont void your warranty. Is it worth the investment? We'll soon get to know if they are worth it.

BTW, I bought it for 10,200 bucks and also got the Ultinon T10 LED's. I will be using them in my new Honda Jazz.

One of my headlamp bulb (Hella H4 100/90 Rally Extra Bright) has stopped working, so have decided to replace both bulbs.

I am confused with the options available. e.g. Just in Philips there are EssentialVision, WeatherVision, XtremeVision, CrystalVision , DiamonVision, etc.

Can you please suggest me a bulb
- Wattage : 100/90
- Bulb type : H4
- Color Temperature : between 3700k to 5000k

In case of 60/55 stock setup, I would have gone for the Osram night breaker unlimited.

Are you not a satisfied with Philips Rally?I'll suggest you to replace it with Rally.

Thanks Anurag. I had Hella bulbs, one of the bulb lasted just for 20 days.
As you suggested, I will go for the Philips Rally

I have been using Philips Rally since 40K+ kms and they are reliable.

Costs 240 post bulb and is lighter on the pocket in case they blow up.
