Re: Honda Brio : Test Drive & Review

hey guys got the SMT. i understand it has central locking + keyless entry. Seems it also has engine immobilizer.

But i'm wondering do i still need to install Autocop Security system to it ? Any additional benefits of doing so ?

You don't 'need' to install a security system on top of the one provided. However, the Honda security system does not raise an alarm in case of unauthorized entry, so if you 'want' that, you can add it.

i know that feeling. i bought a jetta few months back. we wanted to take coffee color and booked that. but later changed it to silver as it was available immediately.

the car is worth the wait. just hang on.

Re: Honda Brio : Test Drive & Review

A friend of mine has a Honda Brio.

His car went in for service today morning. They have found a couple of rat bites on the drive shaft boot.
Now the service center wants him to replace the entire drive shaft because just the boot is not available.
Is it really like this?

Re: Honda Brio : Test Drive & Review

@bblost; Surprised and not really so as well. The job of replacing the boot with entail removal of the drive shaft, so I can see the logic. However the boots may be available in the outside market.

Not true. I'm using a 32GB USB stick as well as an ipod on the Brio. Both are working flawlessly.

Re: Honda Brio : Test Drive & Review

i tried with fat32. it pays for a few minutes then goes to load/retry/connect cycle. then i switch the audio system off and on then reads/play for a bit then again into the load/retry/connect cycle. Any idea what is happening here ?

8gb works perfectly.
