I have L&K(2021 model). Did not find any option to track the car. Can you pls explain how this tracking works?
I don't think octavia comes with GPS device so even the navigation does not work.

Download Skoda MyConnect app and register using your mobile, if your mobile has been updated in Skoda system by dealer, you can use it.

Downloaded the app and registered as well. Got an OTP from Jio for activation. Is this a paid service? Is there a Jio dongle stashed away in the OBD?

Yes there is a jio dongle but its free as far as I know. We have anyways shelled out a bomb for Octavia.

Hey! Yes, it did pop up in my Octavia as well. The service has replaced a part under warranty. I was told that this was a replacement issued by the company itself. Otherwise the part costs upwards of 27k, if replaced without warranty.

After a lot of research, I narrowed down on CarPro Inside diluted 1:10. It works really well if used with patience and technique. There are a lot of videos on YouTube on how to clean Alcantara and Suede leather. If you want additional dirt and spill protection after cleaning, use CarPro Fabric.

Planning to upgrade my alloys / tyres to 18”x8.5J on my Octavia MK4. Currently sporting 225/50/R17 Pilot Sport 4 tyres which are 9500kms old. Exchanging this for a 245 section Pilot Sport 5.
Getting a good exchange deal from the dealer for my PS4s at 6500 per piece (bought at 12.5K per piece). If anyone else wants to take it off my hands at the same price, feel free!

Also, on a side note, we need to make a Chennai Octy owners group to plan weekend rides. If it’s already available please redirect me to it.

Got a set of OE wiper blades, TAFE Access couriered a set to my residence, the reason being it is not in ready stock! I like OE part packages since we rarely get to see them

Got a long package delivered (understand the blades are 24"/19")

Is this mod done? Which alloy did you go for?

Please share observations for 18" alloys + PS5 245/40 (is this the tire profile you went for?) with respect to:
1. Ride quality at low/highway speeds
2. Steering: has the steering become heavier to turn?
3. Handling: is it better than stock?
4. Stability at highway speeds: is it better than stock?

It looks like you tried changing the tires on stock alloys as a first step - please share observations for stock alloys + tire change (17" setup). How much improvement did this have compared to the stock setup?
