I have gone through your ownership report and it is as detailed as it can get

, Infact both of us have bought the vehicle for similar reasons as well, Octavia used to be my Dream Vehicle since my high school, I used to drool on the first gen red colored car that a neighbor had, he later went on to buy a Black L&K which had amazing interiors for the time

As of now I have only managed to drive it close to 900 kms and was not able to strech her legs yet, planning to do so soon, I will try to pen down my ownership report in due course but I am sure you have covered all the details in your report already

What does the app say? Does it ask you to buy any subscription? Mine is Dec'21 and the app worked at least until last week. Right now, I can just see a loading spinner so I can assume that there might be some downtime or a technical glitch.

PS: I am referring to "MySkoda Connect" and not the connect"ED" one.

The chrome delete was always on the cards from Day 1. An appointment at OCD chennai brought my vision to life. Gotta say, this look really brings out the character.

The project isn’t done yet. Multiple performance upgrades pending purely for warranty reasons but we’re getting there.

Mine is March 2022. “MySkoda Connect” App with (jio dongle) works.
What error do you get?

How do you manage to get the dust off the dashboard? I see a fine layer of dust deposited on the dashboard and it seems to stick when i try to clean it with a dry cloth (due to the soft-touch material)

Thanks buddy. I sourced it from Kopacek. Thanks to fellow TBHPian akshay_b for recommending this site.

Regarding this dust on dashboard, I believe you’re referring to the black textured soft-touch material. That space isn’t that dust prone IMO but whenever it’s needed to wipe that place, I use a microfibre cloth. Haven’t faced any issues yet.

There is a 3M dashboard dresser which may help as well. Although I’m skeptical of using any cleaning liquids.

It’s a full paint job. Gloss black on all the chrome trims, side mirror caps and the L shaped air vents on the front bumper.

, amazing choice of wheels! Have you noticed any additional noise with the wheel upgrade? I have seen many such upgrades result in a humming noise at speeds above 80, especially while decelerating.

Looks like there’s already some sticky dashboard polish or protector applied. I’d suggest that you remove it using a good quality interior cleaner first and then apply a fresh layer of interior protector. Meguiars, Turtle wax etc.

The chrome delete job looks absolutely stunning. As close as it can to the vRS spec. I'd say if the roads around you allow, go for lowering springs. that will make it look like a beast.
