2022 Skoda Kodiaq Facelift Review | 2.0L Petrol DSG-d218cb5ad1cb4fb3b41628fb3e34f9d2.jpeg

On the Skoda ConnectED app, this notification keeps coming during every drive. Any insights on why this would be happening?

May be it is detecting an impact during hard braking? Do you remember braking hard during these drives?

Hi All,

Anyone sourced good Mud Flaps for their Kodiaq? Please share links.

No fitment issues, they use latest hi-end equipment and well qualified staff. Also, my car receives special attention as they operate from a building that I own

Reviews on Vredestien Ultrac Vorti seem to be good. Can they can be used for SUVs? How to know if a tire is meant for Sedan or SUV? Load Index?

Re: 2022 Skoda Kodiaq Facelift Review | 2.0L Petrol DSG

My dealer called me just now and told me that there is a kodiaq available which is MY23, VIN 2023 and BS 6.2 compliant. He is insisting on full amount payment ASAP and block the car, and offered me to register the car later as per my convenience. Looking for an honest advise.

Sounds a little rushed! I'd be wary.

Ask him for formal written proof from Skoda India that it is indeed 6.2 compliant. Skoda has not officially announced the same for the Kodiaq.

If I remember correctly, they had made some media announcements a few months back that they would do so within the 1/4 deadline.

Remember, in case you pay in full and don't register before 31/3, you will never be able to register it later.

I did ask him if it BS 6.2 compliance would be given in written, but didnt get a clear yes/no but tried to convince saying they would not make such false claims. But he did mention that the car can be registered in after April as per my input. Another important point is that, old price will be applied on this car as it is in transit. Its not available for PDI. But as soon as it reaches the dealer, then new price will be applied (which is 2L more on-road)

Load index for this tyre is 104-W. 104 being 900 KG load per tyre, and W being max speed 270 kph. On their website they recommend this tyre for the Merc S Class and the Audi Q3. Also, I know of at least 3 examples personally, people using these very same tyres on their Tiguans which is the same tyre size as Kodiaq and barely 90 KG kerb weight difference between the two.

Raises a red flag IMO - why would a dealer be interested in giving discounts on a BS6.2 car which hasn't yet been officially launched?

There is literally no reason for dealers to start giving discounts on BS6.2 cars. If it was a BS6 then it makes sense.

Unless they ordered a demo BS6.2 for themselves (from Skoda) and are now facing some capital issue, because of which they want to sell off the car. In either case, calls for intense due diligence to mitigate the risk of getting scammed.

I see the same warning on my 'VW Connect plus App' for my Tiguan. In fact, once I heard an audible warning while in traffic and was startled a bit. But later saw that its seen a few times on the app. This happened after a series of beeps going around for vehicles coming too close by the 360 degree proximity sensors.

Re: 2022 Skoda Kodiaq Facelift Review | 2.0L Petrol DSG

Just downloaded the latest brochure of Kodiaq from their India website (attached) and I see that the Door edge protectors are back and a Lounge step has been added for the rear seats.

Anyone who recently took delivery can confirm if you have got these features, or any information from dealers on these? If the brochure is updated recently, I guess the MY23 vehicles might come with these features + BS6 Phase 2 for delivery April onwards.
