I get between 12-13 kmpl in the city with about 90% ac use. I roll down the windows only when its breezy and looks like its just about to rain.
Highway runs have returned 14-15 kmpl.
The trouble with the 1.4 is, the engine sounds so sweet above 4000 rpm, its really difficult to keep her below that . So these figures are achieved with a light foot and a big test to your will power.

@Akshay: A separate instruction manual for Blue&Me is supplied with the car. The USB port is on the top in the glove box, this is very hard to spot.

We can't predict city traffic but our Linea delivers FE of 14 at the average speed of 30 in the city and worst is 9.5 at the average speed of 18 kmph, on the highways it can be from 16 to 23 depending on the roads and traffic.

oh i dont think i got one. will call the dealer and check.

im probably going to change the tyre to yoko c-drives.

and the dealer has already messed up. we asked for parking sensors to be fitted which werent done, and we asked them not to install sunfilm but they installed garware lite 50% something.

EDIT - saw a blue and me manual online. but can someone do me a BIG favour, and tell me how to lower the ringer volume of the car speakers? its waay to loud.

Pardon my ignorance but I wanted to know if the Punto Sport is coming anytime soon ? Has anyone used a Pete's box on the 1.3 MJD ? How are the real time results ?

Thanks

Now so many have complained about this, but none has come up with an answer yet.

Why does this "Krrr.. Krrr" noise come up if the car is driven below or around 1k rpm?

I generally drive at this rpm level and feel it has become an irritant during my daily drives. Could someone answer this? Or, has anyone already taken this up with Fiat?

Will really appreciate your efforts. Thanks.

@Akshay1234 - to lower ringer volume, use the +,- volume adjust buttons on the wheel or the volume knob on the headset.

Off course Akshay I am aware of the Swift's behaviour with the tuning box, I was talking in particular reference to the Punto. Has anyone used it on the Punto MJD & can tell about the results.

Cheers

If you want to lower down the ringer permanently, use the MENU option on the audio system. There is an Option called "External Volume", change the value to a lower number and you are good.

If you want to lower the ringer for an instance just reduce the audio system volume by using the volume control on the left which also acts as an on/off swicth.

Hope this answers your query.

heres a review
Petes Tuned Fiat Grande Punto 1.3 Multijet Review

and on the 2nd setting the box tunes the punto to 98hp and 227nm. add a filter and it will be pretty darn quick.

Hi,

Not sure about the Punto sport or Petes for punto, but like akshay said there are many swift users who have pete. I know a person sterlingjames who has used Racechip on his swift which is far more cheaper to procure and also gives you same kind of power - and hence I have ordered mine too. Awaiting the racechip, once installed, I will let you know about the performance.

Awaiting,
Kailash
