Ram, I was never in favor of driving/riding at night.

Even while driving, I normally would like to drive till 10:00pm maximum and halt for the night

After being admonished by fellow members we all agreed its best to change our time

This is what we planned

Hyderabad to Bangalore (600kms)

Start Time : 4:00AM
End Time : 12:00PM

Bangalore to Hyderabad (600kms)

Start Time : 3:00PM
End Time : 11:00PM

8 hours will give us plenty of time to take rest and also ride at liesure

Cops would have a hard time in getting the number correctly but it also gives them a chance to extract 100 bucks from me
How much did you pay dealership to get 7675 number? and can you please upload few more pics of your daytona.

I got in touch directly with the person at RTO and got to know that the number I wanted was "in series", just that I had to wait for couple of days. So I just paid a "nominal" charge to that person to have the number "blocked" for me.

My review of the Daytona is yet to come. Its been 3 months and a lot of riding (almost 4K kms, most of it within the city), have been busy at work and haven't found time to get some pics on a good cam.

Triumph is planning a concurrent launch of 10-12 showrooms across the country by end of this month.

Anyone has more concrete info when/where this is this going to happen?

I took a test drive of the Bonnie SE and Street Triple from Shaman Mercedes located at Kalina in Bombay. The Triumph people were occupying one bay in the service area.

Mr. Vivek Mallya (in charge of the dealership in Bombay) mobile number +91 96 19 890303 informed me the dealership in Bombay will be located in/near Goregaon and should be operational by 3rd May, 2014.

Cheers

I won't be able to tell you the exact dates and where its happening in different cities. In Bombay its supposed to be at the end of the month and the Bombay dealership is looking for venue options for the launch.

Congratulations speedy bhai. Your garage is the perfect example of "Neighbours' envy, owner's pride".

I have my eyes set on a Tiger 800XC too. Somehow the Triumph Tiger, BMW R1200GS, Ducati Multistrada appeal to me more than the supersports and cruiser bikes. The BMW HP4 is an exception though.

Your far too kind..

My brother has had some wonderful bikes over the years (can't remember all the names as his father is also a rider)..right from the Honda Africa twin (Dakar rally bike) to Kawasaki's to the Goldwing and last bike was the CBR 1000 HRC. He was thinking between the BMW GS1200 and Ducati Multistrada..but then i pushed him to see the Triumph Tiger 1200. Then on riding the 800xc which the dealership guys got to the garage..he settled for it. A good bike with enough power for the city and light highway use.
