I just received the invite to the Bombay Launch party on the 3rd of May. The invite also mentions the showroom would be situated at Hubtown Viva, WEH, Andheri (East).

Re: Triumph motorcycles to enter India. Edit: Now Launched Pg. 48

Triumph had a display at Highstreet (Phoneix) Mall, Lower Parel, Mumbai today. Bonneville looks much better in person that in pictures. I found the fit and finish to be really good. The showroom would be opening at Hubtown Viva, Western Express Highway, Andheri East. Would be operational in a weeks time.

Bonneville will be priced at Rs 6.67 Lakh on-road Mumbai.

Had an interesting conversation with the marketing/sales guy that led to me mentioning I am a team-bhpian. He mentioned mobike008 threads on team-bhp. Seems Triumph is keeping track of the forums here

Happy to let you all know that we had out first 'TRAK' day.
TRAK - Triumph Riders Association of Kerala.
We rode out from the Kochi dealership to Athirapally Vazhachal Waterfalls about 60 kms away. Some of the best, twistiest, serene roads of the state can be found in this stretch.

Congratulations on first ride for Kerala Triumph Riders

Agree with Ram. That brown board doesnt really gel with Triumph branding

@mobike008: talk about popular, I've had two people already come out and meet me out of the blue and recognized me from my thread. In fact one of them is now planning to pick up a bike and is a bit confused between the FatBoy and Thunderbird Storm and the other gentleman recently started working at the Capital Haley showroom.

If I could be recognized (both occasions I was on the bike though) with just a couple of posts that I've had, I'm sure you would start getting mobbed soon! Be prepared ;-)

Dr Awsomeness (Shyam) is the owner of dealership. His family reportedly a business family mainly in to engineering contracting, I believe, and this is their first foray in to automobiles field. The showroom is in their owm building, I was told, in the Kochi by-pass of the NH 47 (old number).

Service Checklist

I thought this Checklist would be useful for all Classic Triumph Owners.

Bonneville-service-intervals_checksheet.pdf

Please note that its from 2006 but if you compare with your owners mannual the intervels are almost same.

Best Regards & Ride Safe

What a depressingly written article. I must have read countless street triple reviews online and they have all gone so in-depth about the handling and 'feel'. Looks like the journo was forced to write the piece
