Many thanks. This shall work. I do not work very frequently so was not looking at anything extensive as this one is.

Any feedback on the core RCD 330+ question. I just don't seem to ascertain I need quadlock, ISO or Canbus Emulator or more than one of these things. The sellers are not much help either.

Does anyone know if the output from VAG HU like 330G or the new one 340G be streamed to the rear screen monitors. I have couple of rear screen monitors from my previous car which had a Blaupunkt 835. Wanted to check if it can be put to use in the new VW cars. Just for maps and other stuff.

I got mine installed at AutoFusion Koramangala earlier this year - very professional job. Hardly takes 10 min

Picked-up a pre-worshiped Jetta CL 1.4TSI recently. Gem of a car, and I am enjoying every bit of it.

I was planning on ordering the RCD330G Plus unit from Ebay: -

The price, Rs.11 K is on the higher side. I got for around Rs.7K including customs from Aliexpresss. You need ISO to Quadlock connector if the present radio is RCD 320.

No it wont display the parking sensor data. You can choose to install camera and it would display that.

Can't be sure of that. If the Jetta is from the pre-2014 batches, it would have a CANBUS compatible OPS unit. Can be quickly confirmed using the VCDS cable though.

My Jetta is Feb 2014. Does it mean that the OPS is not on the CANBUS?

Do you also have the RVC installed?

There is an option to buy ISO to quadlock directly from same guy so that he sends in same package. You dont need anything else.

I am not so sure about pre-2014 Jetta's as gannu pointed out. I dont have a RVC installed - i dont need it with the rear view mirrors and sensors :-)

The only sure shot way to find it out is to connect a VCDS cable and see if the module is detected in the application. Physically, the unit is located behind the dashboard in front of the instrument cluster - not easy to check.
