This is an operator issue. Talking to customer care should help.

Lumia 610 is planned to released today. If there is no upgrade path, who will go with 610?
i got 8773 on my Omnia W. Just plug your phone into Zune and it should detect the update. BTW, the 3G data service has made my battery life horrible on my Omnia W :(.

Re: The Windows Phone Thread

I have Samsung B-7300 Omnia Lite Windows Phone. The Version of OS is 6.5 Professional.
Is there any application for Windows Phone similar to that of Talking Tom as in Android Phones?

Waiting for more than two weeks now, but my Lumia 800 is not getting the update yet. Anyone else still waiting? Is there any workaround for force update kind?

One more thing-- Is it possible to upgrade the Internet Explorer in my Windows Phone? Currently, I can open only one site at a time i.e., no multi-tab option.
I want multi-tab option. I got used to laptops and PCs multi-tab browsers-- chrome, ie8.
BTW, there is Opera in the WP that helps to open three tabs at a time, but it sometimes loses its mood and gives error regarding internet settings.

So prefer to use IE on WP.

to open multiple tabs on windows phone 7, is to click the ... on the bar below, and click + icon on the next screen. Try installing 'surfcube' its 3D kinda cool browser, uses the same IE engine.

Mine is 6.5 Professional and not WP 7. So the instructions above are not applicable to me.
Also the Surfcube is for WP 7. So that too is not applicable.

Re: The Windows Phone Thread

I see a lot of negative press around for WP8 launch and its effects on older WP7.

Hope Nokia will not end up a finish company

Re: The Windows Phone Thread

On my Nokia 710, press "..." and a list of options comes up. Pressing "Tabs" displays all open windows. Pressing "+" creates another window. To navigate between tabs (windows) you have go "...", "tabs" and then select the window you want.

So in effect you do not get a tabbed page in true sense, but a multiple window option.

Zune today said that there is an update. First update to version 7.10.8112.7. next update was to 7.10.8773.98. Final update was Samsung. Nothing has broken so far and I don't see any visible difference due to the update.
