The Skoda Yeti Ambition 4by4 Mumbai Individual registration could be had for up to 1 lakh INR off of the OTR price.

I have been quoted a price of 18.5 Lakhs OTR whereas the current list price OTR is 19.54 lakhs.

I am looking to buy an I20 magna CRDI. I dont mind a 2012 model as this one will stay with me for a while like the current Indica DLG. Are there any tempting offers on for 2012 models in Bangalore? I did check with Trident aand Advaith on their website and they are quoting around 40k as discounts, this includes free insurance and exchange. I would not be exchanging the existing car with them and also I have some 45% NCB pending, so the insurance factor is also not such a big thing.

Get a quote from Planet ford as well. I got delivery of Figo diesel 5 days back from Talera with 30.5K discount + free basic accessories (seat covers, mats and pillow).
Initially, Talera was quoting 25.5K but when I pitched in Planet ford quote against them, they increased the discount to 30.5K

In my case they were not ready to budge on insurance from outside , but when i insisted they waived off the 3rd year warranty cost.

In September 2012, the Elegance was available for 18.5 OTR Mumbai and now they are asking for the same amount for the Ambition 4*4. In February 2012, the Ambition 4*4 was available for some 16 odd OTR Mumbai.

They are increasing prices like crazy. I do not think it is worth it at this price. They really need to drop prices big time.

the only logic given by the dealers is that the model year currently available is 2012 whereas in September 2012 they were liquidating 2011 stocks. Plus there was some news post Diwali of Skoda deciding to do away with heavy discounts, crazy as it may sound!!

An increase of 2.5 lakhs or about 15% in less than one year. And that too in a year which has been very bad for the car industry. Ridiculous.

I love the engine but I do not think it is worth it at this price.
