Based on what I had read here, I was expecting resistance but there was none. The only point she made is that I should research the coverage offered outside before buying because KIA is offering bumper to bumper comprehensive coverage for all buyers until December 2019.

On the basic accessory kit, she voluntarily informed me that I can pick and chose rather than be forced to buy the whole kit. I have read either here or on FB that this was a problem w/ some dealers.

My experience otherwise also with VST has been good so far. The SA has always been polite and attentive. Once I visited and the SA were busy attending others. She excused herself from her sales pitch, came over and politely asked if I could wait 10 minutes. Then after 1o minutes when she wouldnt extricate herself from the conversation she was having, she asked another SA to enquire any open questions I may have. All of this without me asking for anyone to talk to. I was happy to loiter around debating the color and the transmission I should be buying. For some reason I am having a hard time deciding. The heart wants DCT and the brain wants the TC

The price on their site is Rs7200, with 10% discount on offer. I couldn't place my order in first attempt and was contacted by the company on WhatsApp. After some negotiations got it for Rs5800

The Kia original 7D mat costs 5200 hence don't you think it's a bit too expensive?

Kia original 7D mats? Are they available?
I had initially asked for the original bucket mats, but the dealership did not have any mats with them. Going by the quality of bucket mats available for 3.5K, I am not sure what the original 7D mats would be.

I am still waiting for a boot mat from the dealer.

They do offer the mats. The 7d mats were out of stock. I ordered them and waiting for them.

The boot mat is okayish and is a rubber mat rather than a carpet mat. I got it but still waiting for the car cover and 7d mat.

The darling is home! 7D mats are a perfect fit with premium look and feel, without needing you laminating your floor. I will share more pics later with you. UVO activation took some time though. I wish KIA had thrown in some good quality perfumes. I got the KIA grey body cover for free!

I don't have a liking for these kinds of 7D / 3D / 5D mats. I would take carpet mats anyday. For me, the grains of sand under the footwear feels like rocks on these 5D / 7D mats (courtesy my OC traits). Moreover the carpet mats make the dust settle down and increase the overall ambience of the cabin especially if it is not maintained meticulously. Noodle mats also do the same, but I hate the wear and tear on them.

I got these Kia original carpet mats. I think they are decent enough for ₹1700. The quality feels good and have spikes underneath to hold them onto place. The contrasting design looks polarising in pics but quite subtle in real.

Sorry for the basic questions but the brochure is not detailed enough on the specifications per variant.

- I am pretty certain that there is no ESC in Diesel AT HTK+. As I know it is only available in GT line (GTX). You can refer it here
- I am not sure on Hill assist. However, tried keeping cat on 20+ Degree uphill and stopping and starting and then releasing the break. The car did not roll back when I removed break totally. With this I am assuming that hill hold assist is present. But my basics on Hill hold assist may need some education.

I took delivery of my GTX DCT yesterday. The black and white dual tone looks sweet with the red accents of the GT Line. This is the second Seltos within our family after my cousin’s GTX+DCT. I have planned a 600-km trip this week – will post my first impressions after that.
