I cannot understand why the court is accepting this behaviour from Skoda. These days, the SBI, state governments, and even the central government are getting their fingers badly rapped by the Supreme Court. True, a consumer court is a loooong long way down the ladder from India's highest court, but it is still a representative of the same thing, the same judicial structure. If I was presiding in that court, I'd be making sure that Skoda/etc was getting some pain for their attitude to the court, before even coming to the complaint.

Skoda and their lawyers are not just sticking a finger in the air to Harish, but to the courts of India.

Actually, it's the court that is showing the finger to the common man (a.k.a harishv). It was the judge himself who was MIA this time.

It is exactly this bureaucratic mindset of the Indian judiciary that corporates like Skoda thrive on. They know they can get away without judgment and punitive damages for decades, by which time the aggrieved party has no choice but to give up.

If nothing concrete happens on the 4th, how about taking the fight on a different platform? The social networking sites?

Here is something from the top of my head:
* Edit the first post and bring it up-to-date with events till now.
* Decide on a Date and Time
* Every T-Bhp member supporting you would voluntarily put up the permanent link of the post on fb, g+, twitter, their blogs or wherever they deem fit.
* We encourage our friends to re-post it till Skoda notices it and adequately compensates you.

Something like this would surely come to their notice and teach them a lesson.

harishv, dont know if you have done this already but go to the following link and post a grievance with all the details. lets involve the Department of Road Transports and Highway and the Department of Consumer Affairs. in this issue and see of they can help in any regard. lodge two separate grievances for the two departments highlighting how skoda has been exploiting the loopholes in the judiciary to dodge the consumer forum.

This might be OT but it is is something which has happened and I have to share it. One of my friends friend is undergoing legal procedures for divorce. The judge asked for Rs 1 lac to give an earlier date. Since the fellow was in no hurry he said "No thankyou".

But if does give an idea of what harishv is against.

In my opinion already injustice has been done in the name of these delays.
