I have been trying to get the Osram Nightbreakers in New Bombay for my Swift but without any success at all.

Could someone kindly let me know where to source these from in Bombay or new Bombay.

Bulb type on Octy L&K

Whats the type of bulb installed for the low beam projector on an Octy L&K?
is it a regular D2S or a modified D2S. Or is it a D1S?
Thanks

Hey
I am planning to upgrade my Facelift Laura Elegance halogens (dipped beam) to white light bulbs (like those on the L&K). I have read that Phillips Xtreme Power H7 (replacement bulbs) are very good and highly recommended. However, i am unsure if these throw yellow or white light. I do not intend to spend a lot or change wiring and stuff.
Can someone, using these bulbs, please post a picture of the light throw on the road infront, so as to provide a better idea of the color of the light (white or yellow)?
Thanks guys!
Cheers!

PS: I am not looking at blue or any other colored light. Just plain white. The current bulbs are very good and the light throw is just perfect but it is yellow.

@vprodigy: I think one of our friend said 13k additional for 3 years free service/maintenance. But dealer says no.

@LedZep: No separate ABS.

I am now opting for LTO version. After all its a gift for Mum

Anything that I am forgetting? Does anyone know if the alloys will support an upgrade tire?

Whats up with the Logistics and Temp number costs? Can some who has bought any recent car comment? Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I did check with Skoda here and each dipped beam bulb on L&K is for 12000 rupees. That is precisely why i dont want to get it from them. I've read that Phillips Xtreme Vision H7 is very good. My question still remains, are these Phillips bulbs white light or yellow and how good is the throw/efficiency/life?

@Akki_5 : You cannot fit H7 in it , nothing except D2S should be used if you want proper light. You can try sourcing the D2S bulbs alone from a online website or also your local Hella Dealer .You will get a genuine set from Hella right here though you will have to wait as most hella dealers do not stock it and brings it only on request. .However the best bet would be to ask someone you know abroad to get the bulbs for you.

Regards

query about xtreme power

Hi,

I have been using Philips Xtreme Power(60/55) in my Wagon R since Feb-2009.
Usage- 1 hour daily in city driving + occasional highway drives(once in a month) where lights are on for about 3-4 hours continuously

Since the past week i have noticed that the light intensity has reduced. Has anyone experienced the same? If anyone knows about the life of these bulbs then please share..

Thanks

I am planning to upgrade the headlights on my Swift ZXI. The stock lights are a little weak for highway driving. Which are the most recommended lamps I can go for ? If possible, I would also like to know the price of the new lamps.

Recently I upgraded my head lights to 90/100 from Suraksha. Over all it costed ~1100, but in the long drives I really felt the difference. I need to correct the alignment of beams.

I did it for my Zen (2002 model). I had the visibilty issues for the long drives.

Yes I changed the relays and bulbs, Bulb was Philips but relay I have to check.
