@sdp1975 & amogh
I have got bak around 300ml of oil. I should have stayed back and supervised but my schedule didnt permit it.
The bulb - right indicator(the one embedded in the front headlight cluster) costed me Rs 95! I think I should escalate this issue and let fiat know. This center is Rama Motors, Okhla, New Delhi.

@coolkurt . Maruti charged me 55 rs for a M800 indicator bulb , which is 5 Watts.
So i assume the rates are fine for Fiat .Also it is very rare for bulbs to fuse.

@aqualeo2040 ; That is a great mileage you are getting with the amount of speeds you are putting the car through.Congratulations.

How about planting some rat kill and leaving some place of exit for rat?

I got a mileage of 23 ( 4.3l /100 ) on the Bangalore Krishnagiri stretch without a/c . This was part of a Pondy trip where the overall mileage was 20.

My LHS indicator had fused recently, ASC replaced it free of cost.

Check your manual. I think it is at 3000kms, Although it would not be as extensive and detailed as the 15k service.

For the Punto/Linea owners in Bangalore - book your service well in advance. I booked it today for my Punto and was asked to come on Thursday. At the time of purchase, I was told that informing 1 day in advance would suffice, but that does not seem to be the case now.

They were not willing to listen on the phone, so I visited the asc ( concorde, dairy circle) . Finally they agreed to get the service done tomorrow after an argument. Half a day wasted.

Is the servicing to be done irrespective of mileage clocked after 3 months or is there a minimum mileage. I dont think I drive that much to go to 3000 kms in 3 months.

Yes : it CAN take a week of waiting at BUB. The reason is Pratham Automobiles (a TATA dealership in wakad) has shut down. So BUB has a lot of rush these days. (of Tata cars)

Besides, right now they also have the rush of Punto's & Linea's being recalled for clutch slave cylinder replacement.

Thanks for the info Amogh.
Since i read your post on the Clutch slave cylinder replacement, i am keen to get my car serviced earlier.

I am not sure if its related, but recently the clutch when released gives a subtle spring noise. Its one of those noises when you sit and get up on on a tightly wound spring of a sofa or a bed.

I got my car delivered in late sept.

Is there a phone or online check where i can verify if my car is lined up for the upgrade ? or i have to visit the Wakad service station to get it confirmed?

Also can you pl share how much time it took to get this fixed.
Thanks

The first service at 3000kms is just a check up service just to make sure everything is OK. I was billed Rs.0 for the service as this was a free service and no consumables were used.

If you are servicing your car on weekends then yes you have to book an appointment at least 4 days in advance. I usually book 5 days in advance to avoid any last minute rush.
