Will try the spare key but guess still this shouldn't be happening. Will ask them to give a look at it during the second service.
Are you tall, and have you started using a different parking spot from 3months ago? Just asked because it is possible that your thigh turns the steering after you remove the key, while stepping out. That locks the steering and hence the jiggles to unlock. Happened to me often until I changed my driving position to a lil further back.

My 2c. If that isn't the case, then MASS should help

Cheers

Parking spots change & i am 5 11' so my knees do touch the steering as i step out. But when the steering is locked it's pretty simple to unlock it with just a left right jiggle of the steering. But it's not been that way. Have had to really keep turning the steering this way & that & had to keep trying to turn the key at the same time so it rotates all the way.
Took it to Powai Auto works the day before. The SA there kept rotating the key forward & backward till it smoothened out a little like almost blunting what was causing the block. Not the right way to fix the issue i guess, but since then the key rotates though i can still feel the catch.

Re: Maruti Swift :Alpha limited edition rolls out

Maruti launches Alpha Limited Edition; only in Petrol Variant.
Is it to boost sagging Swift petrol sales?

Source and Link Autocar India. Maruti rolls out Swift Alpha -
Quote:
Maruti has launched a special limited-edition variant of its Swift Petrol called the Swift Alpha.
Available only with the mid-spec VXi petrol variant, the Swift Alpha gets a host of cosmetic upgrades. These upgrades include a Bluetooth-equipped audio system with speakers, door-sill guards, a body-coloured rear spoiler, mud-flaps, seat-covers, designer floormats and door visors.
Maruti claims that customers save as much as Rs 8,000 if they opt to get these upgrades done versus getting them from the aftermarket.

re: Maruti Swift : Test Drive & Review

Beige interiors could have been best example of special edition atleast from Maruti ( instead of 1.4L engine.)

Current Alpha offering with a spoiler still dont attract me.

Where did the 1.4L engine story originate from?

Correction:

Beige interiors could have been good example of special edition at least from Maruti ( if not 1.4L engine)

Current Alpha offering with a spoiler still dont attract

re: Maruti Swift : Test Drive & Review

Just Got Vkool T35 sunfilm installed on sides and rear for Rs. 5500/- on my Swift Zdi. It enhanced looks of the already sexy ride

AC is way cooler now. Intially considered RE35 from 3M but felt it might be risky at night. Got the work done at Indian Decars Hyderabad.

re: Maruti Swift : Test Drive & Review

Would love to see the new K14B block that made its debut in the Ertiga, on the Swift. It would be an enthusiast's delight if Suzuki comes up with this engine option. Of-course the price will go up as will the duty, but it would be one heck of a machine to drive.

re: Maruti Swift : Test Drive & Review

Had a look under the hood after a long time yesterday while cleaning the car. Noticed at the terminal of the battery there is a lot of grease like substance. Was this applied at my first service or is it some sorta leak. Will post a picture if no one has noticed such an issue before. Mine's a VDi.
