If you are looking for a phone in that budget, to use it for a year or so, you can't go wrong with either of them. Spec-wise they are at par but in my opinion...the Lenovo A6000 looks majestic compared to Holly. And they have better after sales service too.

Works on smartphone as well as in computer browsers : http://www.google.co.in/inbox/

Inbox is not supposed to work as a unified email app. Gmail for Android is. Inbox is a completely different take towards email, where basic idea is that each email is a task that you need to take action on. You either pin it as important, snooze it to some later time or mark it as done to be done with it. That's exactly how I was using Gmail anyway, so Inbox works amazingly well for me.

New Gmail for Android app now supports all other providers (including Microsoft Exchange). https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...droid.gm&hl=en

Buy a MIUI phone. Works out of the box, full stealth, well integrated in the OS too. Or put a MIUI ROM on your phone. Same result.

All other stuff is just too painful an integration (in 2013, it needed rooting + sometimes different kernel etc) to manage.

Unfortunately, both are not possible. I've a Samsung Galaxy S5 G900H for which there aren't many custom rom available. I guess only one is there for now which is basically a debloated one of the stock rom.

There is an useful app called Azumio
It measures your pulse rate when you place a finger on the camera with the flash switched on. I found it to be quite intuitive.

That's used for my gmail ID. Wanted to keep the official one different, hence another app.

Downloaded OWA webmail. It seems to be doing an ok job at the moment.

Confused here, bro.

GMail can be just for Gmail.

The "Email" app can be for exchange accounts like outlook 365. Its there in many distributions (Touchwiz had it) and should be available as an APK even if discontinued by google!

Most of the play store apps need you to put the call on speaker while the recording is done else the other party's voice is too low or not heard at all. How is it with MIUI?

Absolutely simple. You just click on the record button during the call just like you would click to activate speaker / mute yourself. The call quality does not change, nor are thre any audible beeps. Nothing. Its as good as making a regular call.

Exactly. My voice gets recorded whereas the other person's doesn't.

Cyanogenmod, on my phone, just has a setting option to record calls --- but it then records every call. I don't think there is a button as phamilyman describes ...but I haven't looked for it.
