You press the power and volume down button together and hold them for 2 seconds. Don't leave the buttons soon after pressing them together. When you press both the buttons together hold them for 2 seconds.

I am currently on roaming on my Vodafone prepaid number and using nexus 5. I have a 3G plan active on my number but the same is not connecting on roaming even though I have switched on data and enabled it on roaming too. Also tried restarting the phone but it doesn't work. Read on the Internet that this may be due to the APN settings. Can anyone tell me what should be the ideal APN settings for my device?

People with the 1st Gen Moto X, if you haven't figured it out already, active display wakes up with a wave over the phone, just like the X2. It uses the proximity sensor for this, so the wave has to be over the top part of the phone, but it works very well. My phone is a year & an half old and I am sure this wasn't always possible. This must have come as an update. It is so convenient and

to Moto for adding this to an 'old' phone. Besides, the old X is also going to get the new Moto Voice app with Lollipop which will allow for a custom wake up phrase.

They are not rumors, Peter lau, the Founder of oneplus was the VP of Oppo. When he went on to create oneplus he hired employees of Oppo. The Chinese version of oneplus one does come with colorOS.
In short, the people who made Oppo are also the people who created OnePlus.

My mum got it last week and she says it has solved the bugs with the first release and performance is like it was with Kitkat. Think you can go ahead.

I installed it yesterday, initially it was crashing the apps frequently but it's sorted out now. Posting this on the same. Go for it, the new look and feel is cool.

I had a strange issue. I had got OTA update notification to Lollipop for my Nexus 7 in November end. I downloaded the whole stuff and the moment it finished, the device restarted and whoa, the update was nowhere to be seen. Have tried many times to check for update and it says the software is up to date. It runs on 4.4.4 as of today.
Am also waiting for an update for my MotoG 1st gen.

Just updated to L. So far seems alright... Don't like the white / light background everywhere at all though. 😠

How to ascertain that an app is genuine?

For example, a bank says download our app from Google playstore. How do I know if the link or the search results in playstore are genuine. If it is a counterfeit app that I am downloading and logging onto, then all my credentials will be stolen in the first attempt itself.
