Re: Tata Manza

Does anyone has any updates on Tata Manzas? I logged on to the website to check out the deals last evening and was surprised to find the EX (Diesel Top-end Club Class) being offered at Ex-room (Bangalore) for INR 8,17,000.00.

Also, the italian leather option seems to have been withdrawn as I couldnt find any reference to it on the website.

Mahindra & Mahindra today said it will hike prices of some of its models by 1-2 per cent soon to offset increasing input costs and inflation.

Any deals on the Corolla Altis? I'm slowly warming up to dropping my Esteem and getting a new sedan. Am stuck on Vento now but i really don't want to go the VW way if i've other (reliable/hassle free) options within +1-1.5lacs of the Vento.

With such a deadly discount being offered, I dont mind buying it in Mumbai and then getting it registered in Hyderabad at all, as you are saying that BMW dealers can sell all over.
All car manufacturers announce discounts for each month after the first few days. The April discounts are yet to come but the way sales are, I am sure discounts can only increase with each passing month.

They quote various discounts:
  • One is on the ex-showroom price
  • Another is on the OTR price
  • and the third may depend on whether you take finance or not.
But be very careful when dealing with BMW dealers. If you do not have everything in writing, figures will change in a jiffy once you pay the non-refundable booking amount.

Cheers!

How abt Honda City automatic. you can save by means of lower medical bills and lower initial cost. 11 OTR should get you an automatic and hassle free ownership.

I was informed that its 10,000/- for Petrol and 15,00/- for diesel in April.

It was 15,00/- and 25,000/- respectively in March.

Shocked to hear that you couldn't even get Diesel as the SE told me that he can deliver a Diesel to me within 1 or 2 weeks, but not Petrol.

Salespersons will give you lots & lots of placebos to get the booking. Once they are done with that, they will give you multitude of of excuses.

Nissan Teana

Ichibaan Nissan, Mumbai; is offering 5 Lacs off on 2012 Silver Teana.

Offered upfront without any discussion's. I'm sure they will budge more if seriously pushed.

Whats funny is that another Teana was being delivered to an I.T. Co in front of my eyes, at full invoice value.

Ah, fellow sufferers in the same city. Where did you book? Did they give you a possible date? I booked mine at Sai Service.

I'm disappointed with the way MSIL booking system works. I don't think Maruti takes note of bookings when they make/ship cars. I made my booking 3+ months ago and I'm still waiting. In the meantime, the dealer calls me once in a while to sell a different variant that I absolutely do not want!
