This month, Renault is offering benefits of up to Rs. 1.30 lakh on its models. You can get the highest discount if you're in the market for a Duster SUV.

Renault is offering a cash discount of Rs. 50,000, an exchange benefit of Rs. 50,000 and a corporate discount of Rs. 30,000 on the Duster.
This is the same as the December offer. Arrgh. I could have waited and had a 2022 registration to help with resale value down the line. These too should be for the 2021 manufacture, am guessing.

The MY2021 Triber is offered with benefits of up to Rs. 40,000. It includes a cash discount of Rs. 10,000, an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 20,000 and a corporate discount of up to Rs. 10,000. Benefits of up to Rs. 30,000 are being offered the MY2022 Triber.
What's the difference between MY2021 and MY2022 Triber, apart from the manufacturing year? Any feature changes?

Re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

Friends, is there any good discount available in Bangalore for 2022 Honda City (5th gen) ?

My dealer is offering standard Honda discount that is advertised on the website (10k cash discount + 5k dealer discount). I have got a quote for 18,03,000 (ZX CVT without insurance and basic accessory kit). Would like to know:

1. Is there any other discount i can push for ?
2. Outside insurance is cheaper when compared to Honda Assure by at least 20%. Is there any advantage of going with Honda Assure ?
3. Apart from extended warranty and RSA, is there anything (read important accessory) i should be buying at the time of purchase ?

Thanks

1. Highly unlikely. If the dealer is desperate to sell the car and meet their month end targets then they may give some freebies such as the basic accessories kit. If not usually they give what Honda officially publishes in their website.

2. If at all, the cashless claim and the option to start the repairs for less than 25k without surveyor inspection.

3. If you are from coastal areas then may be underbody coating. All other accessories you can get online cheaper, and that too of much better quality and fit than what Honda offers. I suggest you buy them online.

Re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

I enquired with Volkswagen Dealer on offers running on Taigun. Since I already own one, dealer was open in saying the true reason behind this.

This is what they said

Quote:
Cars which were billed in Last week of December were received earlier this year. Such stocks which were billed at older prices are older stocks. They are October/November/December make.

Dealer Invoice dates which were before 1st January 2022 are being sold at older prices only. While the newer stocks which have dealer Invoice dates post 1st January 2022, new prices are applicable.
So, that should sum up.

Infact, I am also seeing some hot selling cars being readily available. My friend who had booked MG Astor on 5th Jan is getting his car next week.

Re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

Hi all,

I have booked an innova crysta and delivery is supposed to happen next month. The dealer is insisting upon a handling/logistics fee of rupees 6250. Has anyone been able to get this waived? Aren't handling charges illegal?

Thanks!

But that said, if the situation reverses, there might be some handsome discounts offered here and there.
Just buy base model cars for few years that don't need more chips to manufacture. More equipment and features means more need of chips. Electric cars will require most chips. Base model cars are nearly 40% less costly compared to top end models. Save on the money. Toll down the windows manually. It's not that bad a thing
