Here in Ludhiana , the ads claim 90k discount on diesel SX4!! but all other discounts are lower than your quotes

What I quoted seems a very dealer specific discount. For two other dealers in the same city, the discounts are different for these 3 models. And all these ads are in the same newspaper. Since these were the BEST deals, I kind of recollect these more than other deals.

PS:: Did you de-activate "Notify while quote" feature? I never get a notification when you quote my post!

I am on the Android app, but then again you won't be notified of this reply!

In here, most of the ads from Maruti itself with a long list of dealers at the bottom. So i believed the offers were common to all dealers, probably vary with region...north and south

The ad says 'Total Benefit', so in all probability it will be combination of both.

C class should have far more discounts, it did when I had enquired. I think this is just the base and we can get a lot more if we speak to someone personally.

My wifey has decided that vento is what it would be ! Please help me with who is the best dealer for vw in mumbai ? Last time I dealt with tornado motors and my experience was just average. Any specific prompt sales guy number sent to my PM please - and are they offering that 1L discount everywhere or is it dealer specific ?

I made a short visit to Gurudev motors, Chennai today to inquire about Rapid TDi. They have following offers:

1. Rapid 8999 scheme: You pay around 5 lacs (approx), then 8999 INR for 48 months and a final bullet payment of INR 154,000 (approx.) in the 48th month. However they mentioned they only have Red color cars under this scheme. I will not buy red

2. Only 1 silver color 2012 Rapid Elegance with 60K off

3. Other are all 2013 models. Offer is free insurance (INR 40000).

My questions:

- I read somehere in this thread that Rapid Elegance model has been discontinued? But Gurudev has 2013 models on display with Antares alloys and 2 airbags
- Is the 1 lac discount offer only on 2012 models
- In the pricing sheet prinyout they have mentioned 2 things: Insurance 40000 (approx). and Skoda Shield (Insurance + 2+2 Extended warranty) for INR 51,900. I beleive i can take either Skoda Shield (which includes insurance and extended warranty) for 51900 or only insurance for 40000. Skoda Secure (bumper to bumper insurance) is available for 10500 extra.

Is this a fair deal? The only problem is that there is only 1 dealer in Chennai, so there is not competition. Please advice

You can ask for quotes from millennium motors Coimbatore and S7 motors Salem .

The ads today from maruti says 45k off on alto 800 including exchange bonus.
The same holds good for wagonr and k10. Looks like a good time to upgrade the maruti 800
