True, but the base versions with relatively low rent interiors. Similar cars I've seen listed are all second owner or high mileage. The alternative will be the M Sport trim, which is very rare and expensive.

Re: The "USED" Car Price Check Thread

How much can I buy a 2021 Thar Petrol AT (10-20K km) convertible for? Spinny seems too high. Saw this on Cars 24 which seems an outlier among other options. Any thoughts?

Assuming single owner for both; below are the prices at which your car would most likely be listed on various used car portals:-

2013 model - Approx. 3.9 Lakh
2015 model - Approx. 5.1 Lakh

How much you can sell it for would depend on how well you can negotiate with them from these starting points.

Re: The "USED" Car Price Check Thread

At what price shall I list our family's 2017 Innova Crysta Touring Sport(wildfire red) that has done 40,000 km. It's VX Diesel 7 seater, Delhi NCR registered, bought at 19L ex-showroom and new one now is 24L ex-showroom.

What would be the best scenario to sell it now and buy a used petrol one(cause MT is required), sell and buy another 7 seater or shall we keep it till 2027 and sell out of state at a really low price.

40k kms is as good as new for Innova. But given its age, you can expect about 13-14 lakhs for it. Selling at this point is better than holding on till 2027. Resale value will plummet if a nation wide 10-year diesel ban gets enforced by then.

Why? Usually it's the other way around.

Re: The "USED" Car Price Check Thread

Hello friends,

I have been using my Honda BR-V i-DTEC S MT for over 6 years now. It has done almost 1.2 lac kilometers now. Its in Pearl White Color - I did pay a premium of 10,000/- back then for the color. It has following repair history. All the services and repairs have been done at the Honda work-shops only.

It had met with an accident in April 2019 which required replacing the rear right side door and the adjacent panel of wheel arc and the rear axle for the sake of safety. The repair was done in the Honda work-shop itself only. This is the biggest repair done on the car.

On another occasion in December 2017, the front left door was grazed by drive-way garden wall corner in a hotel. The right hand door panel was replaced back then at the Honda service center.

As I said, the repairs and all services have been carried out only at Honda service stations all through. I buy the annual service contract which covers my 10-12 month worth run with 3 services over 5000 km intervals. Needless to say, the car runs extremely smooth and gives me a fuel efficiency of 20 km because my daily drive is 60% on highways.

With this history, how much would you think I can expect to get for my car?

There is nothing wrong with it, but I am looking to exchange it with an automatic now.

.
There are plenty of buyers in KL and TN and AP and TS who will buy this from you at a fair price.
Put it on TBHP classifieds and OLX and watch it fly off.

Re: The "USED" Car Price Check Thread

How much I can expect if I sell off our 2014 Honda City iDTEC VMT, which has run 165k Kms?

Bought this car as used in 2017 when the odo was at 35k Kms and the reason for selling it off is we might be seeing unforseen expenses in the near future though the car is running well and in fact, we got the car restored cosmetically as well as mechanically, which includes suspension overhaul, new tyres and battery, for which we had to spend around ₹2L on it. Also, having an AT felt necessary as mom is suffering from leg issues these days.

I'm expecting around ₹4-4.5L on our car if we sell it outside but when I went to Hyundai dealer with the intention of buying Verna or Venue and thought, why not get the car evaluated and they had given a shocking quote of ₹3L stating that this car has run more than 1.5L Kms and being owned by second owner. Also, they told that Honda Diesels aren't that successful hence low quote.

What should be the price for a used volkswagen polo GT TSI 2020 model, the car has run 30k kilometers. It is of white colour and has the 1.0 TSI Engine, it is with a Volkswagen dealer. How much should i offer them? The condition of the car is good.

Re: The "USED" Car Price Check Thread

Sold my 7 year old Vento 1.2 TSI Highline 55k kms done at 5.5. Could have gotten 5.9 from an individual buyer but decided to sell it to a trusted used car agent who has his shop since atleast 20 years.
I was really sad to see her go but it was time to part

Considering current market conditions and the fact that Polo is one of the high demand vehicles from Volkswagen; the dealer may well be looking at an asking price of ~9.5-9.8 Lakh. If you can negotiate this down to ~9 lakh I think that would be a decent deal. This assumes that it's a single owner car.

Re: The "USED" Car Price Check Thread

What's a good price for an i10 Automatic (facelift)? From what I observed, they have either not depreciated that much in the past 2 years, or dealers are quoting ~10-20% higher than what the price should be. Ideally, I was looking at 2,00,000-2,50,000 for a good example, but most listings haven't inspired any confidence.

Also, is the 2009-10 i20 1.4 AT similarly priced? I could find many examples for under 3,00,000 and some closer to the 2.5L mark, too.
