Is your missile showing any signs of aging?

Tire update

Yokohama A drives have performed brilliantly on my car. Its has been belted & tortured with huge amount of torque for 47000 kms and it still seems to last forever. A detailed review of the tire coming soon in the tire section.

The tire wear so far....

The second one also exists but it doesn't do much kms as this one and neither does it have any mods. It has done 23k kms so far

The missile is getting better by the day. As Tadu once said

After 50K Kms, the real problems start. Especially when the "Petes" box is added to the car. It will start going faster and faster, and will eventually even overtake some poor RS, or the odd BMW. Real problems I say.

In the last 50K Kms the car has been causing some real damage. It was a bit tamer the first 50K Kms I used it.

Ps. There are also rumors that after 50k Kms demons come out and eat the engine. I forgot who said that on the forum earlier.

Guys , need some info before i suspect something is wrong with my car

What are your rough mileage readings at the 3/4th , 1/2 and 1/4 fuel gauge meter? . The car is absolute bone stock and ive ended up getting just 141km at the 3/4th fuel left mark after filling her to the brim .

@absynthguzzler : something is definatly wrong, i tanked up day before and i've done 180kms. The fuel needle is slightly below the F mark. Maybe u were cheated on the fuel quantity or there cud be a leakage?

I'm getting 16-17kmpl without AC in City since last two tank ups!!

I've driving a bit sedately these days so have been averaging around 14-15 kmpl with quite a bit of highway runs which are mostly flat-out (all without a/c). Before this, I was getting around 11-12 kmpl with a/c!

Cheers aza . 180km odd whence the needle starts dropping is amazing!

About the possible faults , even if i was cheated on fuel quantity , i was judging on the mileage readings based on a tank full , lol. Coming to the leakage , now i never thought of this aspect , always thought it must be the fuel regulator or something. Thanks for the lead .

Are your figures the norm iraghava ? Cause by rough estimation i should be getting around 12 with AC going by the current reading and its no cause of worry . Maybe i should recheck my driving style , lol.

Nope AG, they're not the norm and neither is my driving style! If you drive normally and unlike me, you should be looking at at least 14kmpl or so!
