See if an HID projector can be tucked in somewhere in the grille with small modifications to work alongside the headlamps.
Yes I checked too. It was 18k per side last year lol. It doesnt show any bulb type for it.

If you unable to find it at a local store near you, you can order this Bosch bulb from Amazon. (But the shipping they charge are pretty high). Bulb cost will be around 250 for you for a bulb which otherwise costs 150!

The Irony is that both Philips and Osram have stopped selling normal versions of these bulbs and now only sell the ridiculously priced Vision Plus / Night breaker etc which are pretty useless and just a rip off.

Or if you are keen to go the LED way, you can use these Osram LED h7 bulbs (but light is 6000K white).

Maruti Genuine Parts \ MGP store - should be able to find one nearby, they should have them.

I unfortunately dont know any in your area, you could alternatively ask in a local garage for a parts store that stocks original philips or Osram, they would know.

I have used osram, hella H7 bulbs from accessories shops.
unfortunately their light output is not good, Unless we opt for higher watt version.

The safari headlight has internal wiring so cant opt for 80w bulbs As I cant install relay or ceramic holders.

Most dealerships keep cheaper versions of any brand. (even counterfeit ones)

MGP store is an independent parts store for Maruti genuine parts not the outlet at the dealership, as the name suggests you get OE.

Hi guys planning to replace my Jazz’s stock halogen bulbs to a newer set. Confused between Osram Night breaker and Philips extreme vision. What do you guys suggest?

Ps: Would like to retain the wattage and not into any HID or LED conversion.

Was in a similar dilemma, after a few online reviews, found there was not much difference between them. I finally purchased Osram, as I got them cheaper than Night breaker.

I'm not sure about the listings above but I had brought Rs 400 listing 'Osram Retrofit 2780CW-02B0 LED Bulb (12V, 0.5W, 2 Bulbs)' sometime ago and as per my analysis, following were the key differences between different models of bulbs from same manufacturer:

1. Lumens output is different in different models
2. Heat dissipation is also different in different models (less heat is good for longevity)
3. Wattage is different too in different models
4. Due to point number 3 above, lower wattage bulbs are relatively good for applications wherein light needs to stay on for longer periods of time

I brought lower wattage bulbs because I needed to use them as licence plate lights and they needed to perform for longer periods of time with lower heat and lower lumens were not an issue in my case.

Coming to your listing, I found the following data when searching them on official website:

2825 model

2880 model

You can make an informed decision based on the application of light (interior / exterior / short duration / longer duration / etc.) and by going through the above data sheets.

The improvement is noticeable, as I moved from stock bulbs to better quality one, illumination is much better.

Re: Auto Lighting thread : Post all queries about automobile lighting here

I have a 2018 Honda city V, and I upgraded to LED headlights on my stock reflectors and while the improvement is huge over stock headlights, I am left wanting a better setup and I think I'll go with a ~4500K HID projector for my car.

I spoke to Retro Rides and apparently they no longer deal with Morimoto kits. I am looking at projector kits from Blaze India. What should I go for? I am an absolute newbie with projectors so please guide me regarding this the way Oscar explains to Michael Scott for the surplus in the budget!

How viable is getting a projector setup on my City? Is going with Iphcar projectors as my primary headlight a safe option? If not, what other options do I have? I have an installer ready to install any projector setup I get.

Re: Auto Lighting thread : Post all queries about automobile lighting here

In continuation to my post above, I spoke to Blaze India and I am getting a quote of 13800 for an AES HID projector KIT. Blue tinted projector lens, 55W ballast and P4 precision HID bulbs make up the kit. Is this a good choice or should I look at bulbs outside? And do I really need 55W?

I am also seeing LED projectors from AES which are similarly priced. Should jump the gun and go for LED projectors or should I opt for the tried and tested HIDs?

I am looking at something like this:

https://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...52ad153cTMEEuN

Need expert advice as I am absolutely confused!
