Did you ask whether you'd get price protection? Thank you.
I booked though the dealer on 8th. The dealer tried booking on 7th but they couldn't. According to the booking receipt, the wordings are generic(same like yours). However according to the dealer i will be getting price protection as they did the booking around 10.30 or so. I didn't use the add to cart function. I completely left everything to the dealership.
NB: My booking preference was always Ax7L AWD Diesel.

I could be wrong though, this is just my observation after comparing OTFs received by me and people in my circle.

Mine was booked at 10:02 OTF22A0002**.
So it means 200 Xuv's were booked in just 2 minutes?

On a side note, Booked XUV300 also on 30/09 through the same dealer and the Booking number is in the same format OTF22A0002**.

Thanks for responding. I think I lost the price protection since I changed my preference from AX7L AT to AX7L AT+AWD. I just hope that they (Mahindra) don't increase the prices of the top end by much by the time we get the vehicle.

Sounds like yours was booked directly by the dealer as they had a separate portal. Their portal allows for bulk booking which is why the booking volume increased so rapidly.

I believe customer facing portals started working intermittently only after 25-30mins. By then most of the initial booking slots were consumed by dealers.

Found this on Instagram, looks like the plastic boot fared well in this accident.

Same is the case with me my OTF number start with B followed by 7 digits. I was confused with the numbers that others had. Good to hear that its not just me.

My guess is these are the variants - petrol manual could be A, petrol Auto C and so on. Alternatively these could be regions, for example, South, East etc.
Mine was booked through a dealer but he finished all the bookings within the first 20 minutes. So, I guess it must have been booked before yours.

I booked a diesel automatic AX7L with AWD. So, A cannot be reserved for petrol manual.

I thought A might be reserved for the south zone, But there is a BHPian from Jalandhar who has been assigned A as well

Are you sure it is 7 and not 6 ? Also, how many of the digits are non-zero ?

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

For the AWD enthusiasts this is how the on demand AWD button looks like. Guess you will have the option to engage when you really need it.

Thanks for sharing. Going by the icon, The button looks more like press to disengage AWD.

Does anyone else think this may be photoshopped
Creta has taken the impact on the bonnet but the matching point on the rear of XUV700 is unscathed. Strangely lower part of XUV's bumper has been dented.
But I could be wrong.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Interestingly, I got a call today from a lady claiming to be from Mahindra dealer and enquiring as to if I would like to book the XUV7OO since I had shown interest in it and test driven it.

Also, she told that I could book it at the original cost: No hike!

Some 50k inflated bookings?? Food for thought

My thoughts too, seems staged, moreover if you notice most of these crash videos or images are always a case of rear ending a XUV700, never from side or the front, kind of fishy. As they say " Kuch to Gadbad hai"
