Total Rs.349/- (less 5% discount voucher from ebay).
(Normal cost RS.299 + Rs.50 packing and shipping cost).
Seller has got 2 or 3 different models which you can seen in the link (see post no.286)

Nairji, are u planning to wash the car body with this? Don't you think it is slightly risky to use..if some thick/solid particle gets stuck in the spongy surface, it may scratch the surface.

normal hose (1/2 inch), which used to connect to water tap (1/2 inch)
can be connected with this duster.

No - I may not use this for car body. For full body washing, I found the Jopasu magic wipe is much easier and can finish the job very quickly.

However this Duster can be used to clean the alloys/rim/ mud flops etc (those places are not comfortablly reachable to our hand). Since this duster has a long handle and with water spraying, cleaning in these areas will be much easier and faster?

On seeing this thread and the overall performance of Fiesta so far, I am bit eager to pick one Fiesta TDCi. I thought of picking a good second hand in the range of 4-5 lakh. Since Figo is to come, I am in a dilemma now.

Do you want to know more about Fiesta - go to the other thread
''all fiesta owners - you are here''. This thread has grown up fast and crossed over 100 pages hence it was closed, but still you can view it

@Abhi_s80

Tthanks your PM
Do you mean Rs.7.7L on road for SXI including freebies like Free Insurance, mud flaps, mats, teflon coating, sunfilm, idol, perfume, number plate etc?? seems good bargain

Suggestion- instead of teflon coating, you may ask for underbody anti rust coating?

Thanks Sir. I still need to check on few things before signing on the dotted line:
Teflon - Is it realy Teflon, or some kind of wax.
Anti Rust - Under negotiation. Hope to bag it soon
Mats - I checked, and they are all BLACK. I need to see the FORD logo
I am using my corporate discount quota here, so prices may be special
I think Insuance is still free, from FORD, though my 'consultant' did say "I would get it done for you, Sir !"
I am still negotiating few more accessories, the price list @ "you are here" thread is very helpful

All Mumbai / Chennai / Kolkata owners - One word answer please - Which of these to g for : Teflon, or Anti Rust ?

To round up, I am looking for a SXi Petrol.

Abhi, are you getting the 3M or Waxoyl treatment for teflon/anti rust?

Normally, the offering by dealers is paint-protection & anti-rust. My suggestion would be as follows:
- Anti-rust underbody coating
- Anti-Cavity (spray coating inside door panels, other areas)
- Motor-care (protective spray under the bonnet/engine compartment)
- Paint Protection (also sometimes referred to as teflon coating by those ignorant saleguys - this is really not needed, but if you are getting only as part of a packaged deal with no additional cost, go for it)

Go for the underbody rust protection coating and the paint protection. I don't think the other things add too much value. The paint protection is especially good. My car still gleams like it did on the day of delivery.

3M. Thanks to the forum, I have an excel sheet tracking both vendor and brand names, where applicable

I am also interested in Paint Protection, the ' annual ' cost though seems high ( approx 3.5 k) . I am bargaining on that, still. Right now,the deal is 'one time' only, has to be redone every 6 months

Thanks. I would be careful to not get fooled here. And this proves that the most important car accessory is a good camera / camcorder

Apologies for a late revert, I was busy being a social animal over the weekend :-)

These days, my commute time is spent counting Fiestas on road ( and there are so many ! ) and observing "dust factor". Hence ruled out Black and Morello, believing that with Mumbai's ever ongoing construction, a lot more dust shows up as against a White, or a Silver. Still, I am gravitating towards the third 'dark' option, of Sea Grey. Maybe I would change my avatar name to "The Dark Knight' or 'Shades of Grey' once I get my Fiesta

I still have to get Home Minister's approval though, who fancies the White!
