Great updates!
Has the ground clearance been reduced to 180mm or has it been the same? I believe the duster has 205mm GC . I wish it had better GC since the suspension setup has been improved .

No, I din't mean to say that there is a 4wd variant with EX.
In the new variants, S4 and S10 would have 4wd.

A lot of people wouldn't need to visit the showroom considering the vehicle is not available on display or TD. Also expect the cancellation to be refundable quicker in the case of an online booking against the usual process.

I'm certain Snapdeal is obviously only acting as a bridge and will direct individuals to their closest dealer for coordination of purchase post launch.

A nice thought and initiative to expand the customer base and also let people know that there something breeding on these lines in the market. Not all can go to the showroom to check the updates, such add-on's will make life easier for both the manufacturer and the dealer.

Just that the detail are entered correctly, both by the manufacturer regarding the car and by the customer while booking.

This is like no-middlemen, the errors done by sales executive is nullified and all responsibility lies with the customer.

On of the best and great initiative by Mahindra to market the NG Scorpio, allowing users to book from where they are. Also I saw that the entire booking amount will be refunded on cancellation and to my surprise there was an EMI option available from Snapdeal on the booking amount with 6800/- & 3451/- for 3 & 6 months respectively.

The current Scorpio has ONLY 180 mm GC.

S6 – This variant would have a 2DIN audio system & the exteriors would be body coloured.
S6+ - This variant would have Driver Airbag & ABS.


There is apparently a S6 (option) version which will have Driver airbag and ABS. Welcome move! All we now need is optional 4WD across the range

That means, "Safety" [features] is still left "optional". Any day better than not offering one at all though.
Would have preferred at least "ABS" as standard across all the variants with the likes of "body coloured" cladding as "optional".

Edit: We definitely getting there, but rather slowly.

Well it was a personal opinion so no offense taken . However, it is investing an amount of 10 lacs plus and we all know the fate of buyers who lined up and even paid a premium to buy the XUV at its launch.

M&M certainly knows how to build the hype, however a Scorpio is not everyones cup of tea like the smaller cousins (Eco Sport, Duster, Terrano) or even the flashier sibling like the XUV. It has its own market and customer set who buy it for what is and not what it can be. Being a full blown (bloated) SUV it would be a mistake for M&M to pit it as an upgrade for a sedan or a hatch.
