1. My AC seems to be not cooling properly. I had driven to Udupi and Gokarna recently and cabin cooling has been not satisfactory. I faced the same earlier and had taken it to a Bosch garage where they checked and said everything was fine (and a checkup was done prior to my drive to Udupi where I specifically asked to check the AC and related stuff). Do you face the same problem? What needs to be done?

2. What top speeds have you achieved on the highway? I feel the car juddering (not sure if this is even a proper word) when I touch 120 at about 2.5 rpm and am hesitant to go above that. Would you say going more than ~120 is possible? Also, I feel the engine noise is becoming loud beyond 2.4K rpm.

3. Braking. There was a time when I had to brake rather quickly. It just didnt slow down as fast as I thought it would. ABS didnt seem to kick in either (there is no error from the dashboard about ABS). It just feels rubbery. Guys facing same/similar situation? What can be done?
1. I had this issue in 2021 (so that would be around 6 years and maybe 65k kms). Went to FNG and they confirmed there's a very small leak somewhere. Topped up the gas and it's been fine.
But few weeks back, I had this long drive. AC cooling was fine, but the amount of air sort of started to decrease, but fan sound was there.
After driving for around 2 hours, opened the bonnet and this pipe was frozen (image attached).

On reaching the next city, switched off the car and checked with the passerby on the nearest hyundai dealer. Got the place and while driving, AC was working fine. Checked the pipe and it looked normal. Sort of a defrost happened when I switched off the car. Didnt bother to get it checked. Worked fine for an hour and it slowly started to decrease - Same issue.

But on our return drive (3 hours) with fulltime AC, it was normal. I have a drive this weekend. Will need to check.

2. Engine noise will definitely be high post 2.4k but havent noticed any juddering. Check the wheel alignment/balancing and tyre pressure.

3. If ABS didnt kick in, I suggest you to get the ABS sensor checked. This thread will share my horrible experience - https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/techn...ll-owners.html (Hyundai Creta: Serious brake failure issue (must-read for all owners))

Has anyone noticed - if you press the window lock, only rear window buttons get disabled but not the front passenger window. I used to have all three windows up/down disabled in my previous cars. But now kids if they sit in front seat play with it.

Yes, it is like that (Locks back seat windows only) at least in most of the Hyundai Cars.

I also noticed the same thing. Then I thought that since it is called child lock and we are not supposed to seat a child in front seat, may be that's why it only functions on the rear seats.

Noticed a nifty little feature. If your phone is kept on the wireless charging pad and you turn off the ignition, the MID pops up a reminder of the phone left on the charging pad.

Re: Hyundai Creta : Official Review

For everyone who's been wondering, the 1.4 Turbo+DCT is officially discontinued as can be seen on the latest brochure (attached).

Re: Hyundai Creta : Official Review

Broke my passenger side fog lamp while parking. Should I claim insurance for it? Or get it fixed on my own? At HASS or FNG?

My NCB is around Rs. 2600

Re: Hyundai Creta : Official Review

Hi Amit,

The cost of a single fog lamp is under Rs.1000/-, so it's better to get it fixed on your own from any nearby FNG.

Re: Hyundai Creta : Official Review

Anybody here installed 360 Camera in Creta 10.25 touch screen models like SX or SX(O) ?
If so, which brand and how much is the cost?

Re: Hyundai Creta : Official Review

Hi All,

was confused between IVT and DCT. was confused whether to wait for facelift or not.

Mostly Hyundai has cleared my doubt by discontinuing themselves the current DCT.

Now i am considering the CRETA SXO or KNIGHT SXO.

I can only find two differences; the interior colour theme and tyre size difference. (17" in normal and 16" in knight)

Any feedback from people driving the 16" tyres on say Knight IVT or S+ DCT variants.

For me, the preference is dark interiors and hence wanted to know if there is any downside to a smaller tyre size.

Creta/Seltos 1.5 CVT Engine performance

I currently have Creta SX+ 1.6 petrol Manual. Now I am planning to go for an automatic variant.
I have a question for the owners of a 1.5 petrol CVT. have you ever felt that this engine is underpowered on hills or anywhere?

Currently, I am waiting for more information on the Seltos facelift as there are rumors of a new engine 1.5 turbo but they would be continuing with 1.5-liter option.
