Exactly. My quote is 7352. Given my car yesterday and the insurance surveyor has approved and the work is taken. Delivery will be today evening. SA told that I need to pay around 2k. One positive thing is all things were handled smoothly and cooperation by New India assurance is excellent. Hats off. I have two wheelers and car with only New India. The staff are responsive and also polite in answering all doubts.
The total IDV (insurance value of the new vehicle) is 4,49,000/- only even the exshow room is 472900/- (for tdci exi). The reason being 5% will be reduced while calculating the IDV even for a new car.
I have put the estimate scan in my ownership thread

I would like to know whether the Bluetooth system in the Ford Figo reads out the messages that we receive in the phone?

No, it doesn't. It just sounds and alert whenever a new sms is received.

Thank You Perseus. Initially I had thought that the Bluetooth System in Ford Figo would read out the messages just like the way the BLUE & ME does in Fiat Linea & Fiat Punto.

yes, there's ususally a lot of changes in calibration and aftertreatment even though the power has stayed the same. This is most likely the cause for it.

Just crossed 5000kms mark in my Figo roughly in about 5 months since purchase. Mostly (about 90%) has been complete chaotic city drive and rest on highways. Initially FE was an issue and i was generally getting around 13 kms. Slowly it improved and in the last tank full - tank full, i got 16 km (with full city AC driving). Guess the mileage improves with the engine setting in and assume the engine should be good for the longer run (4, 5 maybe 7 years)

Congrats e-biz on your FE

I today noted that i had cross 4000 kms mark

My FE in my weekend trip to mysore turned out as 17.7 kmpl which gone down from 18.x before the first service

I guess my engine oil was not changed, i will try to go to the service center sooner than later

My Bluetooth phone system is not working properly. My phone pairs with the Ford system as it should. But I'm unable to make calls. If I receive a call, I cannot hear anything.
Initially the dealership promised to replace the unit, but today they back-tracked and said they can only get the system repaired. Is that fair on the part of Ford?

Hi Folks,

I have got the following quote for figo tdci TMP

Model Fuel Type Plan term / Kms, whichever occurs earlier Term Kms Point of Sale (From car retail date) Cust. Price
Figo Diesel 24M/30K 3M 2.5K >3M <12M 10,990
Figo Diesel 36M/30K 3M 2.5K >3M <12M 13,090

Do you guys think that is worth the price? or its better not to opt for this.

I also got the indicative service charges for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd services respectively for figo diesel from the ford folks.

10000KM Service (Including Labour Approximately Rs.1500/-)
Engine oil
Oil filter

20000KM Service (Including Labour Approximately Rs.3500/-)
Engine oil
Oil filter
Air filter

30000KM Service (Including Labour Approximately Rs.4300/-)
Engine oil
Oil filter
Fuel Filter

Cheers

@ebiz - thats really a good mileage and that too after metro rail construction has worsened the entire traffic system which has cascading effect in other roads too.

With 13K I think it's value for money. (Especially if you drive at least 15K in an year). I have been using TMP for my last two cars. For Fusion I never regretted for the money I paid, but I think for my current Fiesta it was not VFM. (I paid around 30K for 3 years)

Earlier Ford used to provide an option to buy TMP after some times by paying an extra premium. Now I don't know where it is avialable or not.

TMP covers all the spare parts and labour charges other than fuel, tyres and accidents.

In my experience I haven't spent a single paisa on maintianance on my cars till now.

For example I had to change brake pads and wipers last month. The bill was zero.
