^^
Mine is one and half years old, but the admiration and love for that vehicle hasn't reduced one bit.

True that. My vehicle is also a year and a half old and I just got back from a 1000km road trip and it still amazes me !!

If I also may add, 6 months now with my beast and it has been a joy owning this wonderful vehicle. I had thought that post the initial excitement the Euphoria would die down, but I still look forward to driving this machine everyday....very happy and satisfied owner and now a Mahindra Fan(?)

Have completed a little more than a year and 20000kms with my purple cheetah. So far it has been a great and enjoyable journey...

Wishing and looking ahead for a lot more wonderful experiences with the beast...

If you would not have mentioned it would have thought the Cheetah was black, last pic looks stunning.

Of late there are lots of positive reviews on this thread. There was a time it was mostly niggles, hope this is due to Mahindra ironing out the issues.

Re: Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review

I am happy to inform that I got my XUV500 W8 FWD Opulent Purple delivered this evening. In the morning, the vehicle got registered. Reuben, XUV500 Experience Executive, India Garage kept me fully informed at every stage. He requested me to come by 4 pm and take delivery of my XUV500, which we did.

After completing the briefing and paper works, I was asked to cut the ribbon to unveil my XUV500! After unveiling, I was presented with a bouquet by N Gopalakrishnan, Area Sales Manager, Mahindra. Then, puja was performed. S Srinivasa Mukundan, Manager - Sales, India Garage and Gopalakrishnan jointly handed over the keys and compliments to me. Later, Reuben escorted me to my XUV500 for my first drive.

After reaching home, I received a message from Reuben informing me of the registration number. Tomorrow, I will drive to India Garage to get the registration number plates fixed.

Another long, mega journey has just started!

Congratulations sir! That XUV has found a great home! I am sure it will see each and every corner of the country, like your Linea.

I have been asking the same question since 2 yrs of my ownership. I think if someone can come with an aftermarket solution to this it would be great.

I think it's more of Mahindra's attitude as a company than the product. Yes, the product definitely has improved from the first batch, but I attribute it to the company's willingness to correct & improve and deliver better CE.

This approach, am sure has built a lot more confidence in the (prospective) customers and though the product may NOT be perfect, they are sure there will be support even from the top most official. Nothing can be better for a customer.

Re: Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review

Visited the few service centers in Mumbai yesterday. I have completed 2500 Kms and hence wanted to change the engine oil. However, both the service centers I visited (G3 and Infinity) strictly advised me not to change the engine oil and just follow the Mahindra's maintenance schedule.

They said the oil used in XUV is of very high grade (5W40) and hence need not be changed until 5000 k. In fact, it can last for much more Kms than specified in the maintenance schedule.

Went ahead with their advice. I clicked some of the pictures showing the rates for the XUV maintenance as attached.
