Could you tell me if your booking was from the launch date? Also what is Mahindra's take on the missing sequential indicators & 2nd key fob? Have they committed to provide them in foreseeable future?

Cheers,
Vijay
Thanks, yes my booking was on day one.

Consent letter is as below.
My dealer does not have any such acknoledgement form.

Congratulations. Hope to meet in person next time I visit Bokaro.

Exactly my point, this is a consent / acknoledgement from the buyer, but there is no promise from M&M.

This is the website although it doesn't list the XUV700, last time I talked with the distributor he told me mats for manual variant were available. Contact this number on whatsapp it's their official business account: +91 8884788843.

You can check out videos of Kagu 3D MAXpider mats on youtube to get an idea on their finish & quality.

Consent letter doesn't mention that these updates would be free of charge to customer and cost will be borne by the dealer/company. Should they not specify that if this is the only document provided for missing features?

No signature from the dealer. Apparently it works on trust

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Read a few posts regarding Mahindra mats. General consensus is they’re overpriced. I recently got their 3D mats for Rs 5700 for my petrol automatic XUV 700. I am very happy with the fit and finish. Also Kagu 3D mats aren’t available yet for automatic and I wanted mats on day one given the rainy season.

I would suggest prospective buyers to keep an open mind, take a look at the Mahindra accessories brochure, compare with what’s available elsewhere and then take a call.

So in my experience the issue is with your mobile software and not with XUV's.
I have the same phone. Although I am able to connect to Android Auto through cable, it's not connecting through wifi even after the phone is connected to the car's wifi. Have you been able to connect through wireless to Android auto? Mine is an AX5 diesel manual variant.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Autofurnish looks great, will order it.

Will the white colored 7D mats look better or black ones? I was thinking white ones as interiors are also white

I checked out autofurnish and cozoo and autofurnish mats were a bit thicker so I went for those but cozoo were pretty good too. Do not go for Mahindra mats, they are highly overpriced. For 10k you can get 7D mats for all rows + boot as well. While you're at it do check out 3D mats from Kagu, they were my first choice but were not available yet, should be in stock by now.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

I booked MX Petrol Midnight Black on 16th April. Today I got a call from the SA, couldn't take it but when I checked the Mahindra site, it showed the Vehicle Ready for Delivery at Showroom. In the intervening period of making the booking to now, I have dropped the plan to buy it altogether. Now I have 2 questions;
1. If I don't take delivery, will my booking amount be forfeited or refunded to me after deduction ?
2. Is anybody here from Haryana, looking to get MX Petrol in Midnight Black ? You can have mine, with no extra cost barring the initial booking amount.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Don't worry just tell the dealer you want to cancel. They'll ask a request email with canceled cheque and you will get the refund. They sell the vehicle to the next guy

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Finally after a long wait my Ax7L AWD has been billed and about to be dispatched. The dealership said it will take max 10 days to reach the showroom and they asked me to ready my finances. I started to look for loan offers but the minimum interest rate that i got was 7.65 from SBI. According to SBI, because of increase in repo rates the interest rates have increased in the last few months. Has anybody, who has financed the car got anything less than 7.65%. Thanks in advance.

My local accessory dealer in GTB Nagar is selling 7D mats by Autotech at 6.5k. They look decent, have black with white borders, sort of matching the light interiors. Am planning to get these once i get the car, hopefully by the weekend.

Hi congratulations and best wishes for the prize of waiting so long. Believe me you'll not be disappointed at all

As far as interest rate is concerned, I can share my experience. Remember, i got my car on 23rd March, so things might have changed a bit. But overall, i felt that SBI is not cheapest in case of car loans.
I got it from PNB at 6.85% and zero processing fees.

SBI was quoting 7.25 with some processing fees.

I believe even if the rate goes up, the difference will persist.

Hope this helps

I use One Plus 9 RT, and AX5. Both are not compatible at all without wire. Upon reading the comment about updating the phone software, I did it yesterday. However, it is still not working.
Tried to delete the phone and tried adding it again as well but in vain.

Any pointers ?

Apart from that, I came across another interesting feature which can allow us to check if our phone is compatible with car model or not.

Here it is:

https://www.android.com/auto/compatibility/

I couldn't see XUV 7OO listed there.

PNB is cheaper than SBI but PNB has floating rate while SBI has fixed rate. At the present market trend the interest rates are likely to rise in the near future. Consider this aspect too before finalising your loan. Presently both has processing charges waival.

I don't understand one thing, why do we need to give a leeway to the company, they are not charging us any less, they are going to pocket a nice profit on every car sold, so is there a problem demanding bang for the buck?

Secondly, our compliance standards and closures in India are not yet to the mark where one can sit carefree after petitioning them and let them take the head ache. Here we have to run from pillar to post for setting everything right which was not set right even when we paid for it.
