Am not sure if they tested it that way, however if the terminals would have been misplaced then shouldn't this issue be existant from day 1.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Guys

At last, my car arrived at the dealership yesterday. Did a detailed PDI with Team-Bhp checklist with my friend. For now everything seems well. The car has clocked only 14kms. Hoping o get delivery in a weeks time. The sales experience with two different dealers is a story for another day. . The second dealer was far better in their dealings. I told them categorically that I will confirm the car only after the PDI .Also I took finance/insurance from outside and they had no problems with it.
attaching some pictures .

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Hey there, I got the delivery of AX7 D MT BS 6.2 last month and it has the Lane keep assist.

Though they have stopped giving the rear sequential indicators as said by my sales rep who handed over the car to me.

Got the 'silver box' replaced on my vehicle today, and navigation works, just like everything else works with Android Auto. Not sure why that's not the case for you.

I saw this as well. Maybe this explains it: https://9to5google.com/2022/05/28/an...l%20as%20music.

Has anyone else also received similar calls or knows specifics of the update? Tried to find details from service advisor, manager and M&M customer service, but no-one seems to be able to help, beyond re-directing to each other.

I have a T-Block connector check also pending - will update this thread after visiting the service center.
Yes, even i had got a call from my dealer for Silver Box update. He got the car picked up and completed the job within two hours. Thankfully, Apple CarPlay is having lesser niggles and disconnections pist the update.

However, suddenly the music screen doesn’t display images of the Album/ song being played. Has anyone else faced the same issue or am I missing some setting?

Hi,
In my case the navigation works in Android Auto on the infotainment screen only. The turn-by-turn navigation on MID screen is currently not available. Does your system show navigational aids on MID screen? The current version of UI on my car is 10.17.33 and although it has a navigation window on MID, it just shows a message "Set Route to Begin" but does not work even after setting a location on Google Maps.

I just got hands on the new XUV700 AX7 D MT BS6.2. Can't say have noticed a significant change in the drivability from the BS6.0 engine( had driven a friend's car) but have listed to the sales representative saying it has further refined the engine.

The sales guy calls us on 4th April 8:00 pm after the showroom closes and tells me that the price of the my selected model by whopping Rs. 65,000 and the remaining amount has to be paid prior delivery.
That was an utter shock to us having to go to collect the car next day and not even 15 hrs left and this is the news we get.
The prices prevailaing on the date of delivery is charged to the customer. This price rise was already discussed in the thread and you had the option to push the dealer to prepare the Invoice on 03rd and make the payment on that date.

The engine for the 6.0 and 6.2 remain the same. The 6.2 cars require real time emission monitoring (on the road, while driving) and therefore has an additional OBD-2 port. I am told that if you open the bonnet, you can see the new OBD port on the backwall.

Hello Sir,

I tried pushing it for the same date and when I had gone to the showroom to talk to the GM Sales, he simply said that we won't have invoiced it prior. that's why we haven't delivered any car. And this I can confirm because when I had gone to the Stockyard for the PDI of the car, roughly 100 XUV's alone were there and just the previous day, the sales guy had said that we don't have a single car with us, its all in transit and we cannot confirm with you the current status of the car.

But at present, I am enjoying the drives and luckily still got the LKA feature in mine.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Has anyone got their second key yet? It's been 10 months since I got my XUV7OO and the showroom has no idea when I'll get my second key. I'm in touch with the customer care manager. I'll update once I get some info from the manager.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Fellow XUV700 owners, How do we disable Alexa and ensure that steering control mic option always triggers Google assistant rather than Alexa? This will be super useful for me.

Update : Following BHPians Ravenavi and Sommos updates, got my ASC to fit TPMS sensors for my AX5(D MT) and it works like a charm.
5 TPMS Sensors = ~Rs. 5k, Labour Rs. 1k. So, got the TPMS working at the expense of just Rs.6k.

This should be automatic as soon as Android Auto is successfully connected.

Oh. At least for me that is not the case. I always drive with AA connected via mobile, but pressing the voice button on steering always triggers alexa

Mahindra XUV700 production crosses the 1 lakh unit mark

Mahindra has achieved a new production milestone as the 1,00,000th XUV700 rolled off its production line.

Mahindra XUV700 Review-2021mahindraxuv70011.jpg

The XUV700 went on sale in 2021, and since then, Mahindra has sold over 90,000 units of the SUV. Such is the demand that the company has a huge backlog of deliveries with a waiting period extending over a year.

The XUV700 is available in two trims: MX and AdrenoX, in a 5-seater or 7-seater configuration.

The SUV comes with two engine options - 2.0-litre, mStallion turbo-petrol producing 197 BHP and 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that makes 182 BHP and 420 Nm (MT) / 450 Nm (AT). Both engines come with a choice of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive will also be available as an option.

You are right. When AA is on, you don't have to press the voice button. You could directly start with "OK Google" without any button press.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

I wanted to check if the windscreen of 700 gets easily scratched? I have only completed around 1200 kms can see swirls on the windscreen while driving at night. I can see them after my first service.
